Gulab Jamun - Because everyone has a sweet side
The old favorite made with Khoya, flour and dipped in sugar syrup infused with saffron. Quick, simple, and tastes great!

Ingredients
300 gms Khoya (dried milk powder)
3 Tbsp Flour
3 Tbsp Sugar
1/2 liter Water
Saffron, a pinch
200 gms Refined Oil
Method
In a bowl, add khoya and flour and mix together.
Make a round ball shape gulab jamun out of the mixture
To make sugar syrup, heat 3 table spoons of sugar and 1/2 liter water then add little saffron, heat until the sugar has dissolved and the mixture is syrupy
Deep fry the gulab jamun in a pan with the oil.
Then add the fried gulab jamun into the sugar syrup and serve hot.
Note: Can garnish with chopped pistachio nuts and flaked almonds and serve.
